Light Up Rural India

Last summer when I visited my village in Odisha, i realized there is no electricity during night time and the reason is so obvious. India is a vast country with majority of its population living in rural areas. About 80,000 villages do not have electricity connection. Approx 300,000 villages do not have electricity more than 5-6 hours daily. The due to this Students were not able to study post sunset, most of their time goes on working and helping in household works.


And this is not end of story, these people face many problem sometime from thieves  from wild animals, they don't even get time to share last meal of day together, and the issues are count less.

To help them Light for Life has stared initiate to distribute solar lanters which will enlighten their lives. And you can see the result :
